Business Excellence Through Performance Measurement

(A TWO DAY PROGRAMME)

Presenter: Prof. Gopal K. Kanji

Introduction

Effective management depends on the effective measurement of performance and results. The first condition to improve, and ultimately to achieve Business Excellence, is to develop and implement a system for Performance Measurement. By knowing the real path for Excellence, an organisation can identify where to improve and how limited resources can be more effectively used of improvement.
Performance measurement also has an important role to play by making people aware of what is important to the organisations success and the areas they need to improve. Additionally, performance measurement can induce success by encouraging and rewarding the appropriate attitude and by making progress prominent.

However, designing and operating such a system is not without difficulties and proper investment. That is why it is important to identify the requirements of a good performance measurement system and concentrate on the measurements that are meaningful i.e. on the key and other important areas that determine organisational success or failureObjective

This two-day programme aims to guide you in designing a performance measurement system that will lead your organisation in its route to Business Excellence and give you a general understanding of the way Kanji-Certification works.
